2017 MDC Menu

There is always plenty to eat at the Memorial Day Camp Out.  From breakfasts that include a broad range of omelet fillings, endless hot dogs, and memorable dinners there is lots of food and enough variety to keep everyone happy.

So bring your appetite, and maybe a dessert to share.

These menus are not yet final.

Thursday Dinner – Chuck Roast (17 Points)

  • Chuck Roast with onions
  • Roasted carrots, mushrooms, and potatoes
  • Baked potatoes and baked sweet potatoes
  • Roasted Asparagus
  • Salad Bar (see description below)
  • Apple Sauce

Friday Dinner – BBQ Chicken (21 points)

  • Grilled and BBQ Chicken Thighs
  • Noodles
  • Roasted Green Beans, Cauliflower, Asparagus and Brussel Sprouts (as available)

Saturday Dinner – Italian Night

  • Eggplant Parmagiana
  • Spaghetti
  • Meatballs
  • Marinara sauce
  • Vegetarian sauce (eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms, onions, green peppers)

Sunday Dinner – Leftovers

Please bring the following:

  • a camp chair
  • a personal coffee/cocoa mug
  • a personal water bottle
  • a desert to share, such as brownies or cookies
  • three gallons of spring water
  • one or more containers of ice (a milk bottle of frozen water works well).  Please label as ICE
  • any personal beverage choices.  Alcohol is illegal, but has been tolerated as long as we hide it and are judicious
